Drew Owsley is a current student of Jeff Battah’s since he was in Bantam hockey in Lethbridge. Owsley was an Alberta Midget AAA League MVP prior to entering the Western Hockey League.
Owsley played 4 seasons in the WHL with Tri-City Americans (2008-2011) and the Prince George Cougars (2011-12).
He has played in 10,231 minutes over his 4 seasons compiling a record of 98-71-2-3 with 12 shutouts. In the post season he played in 29 games posting a 18-7-0-1 record and took the Tri City Americans to the WHL Finals in 2010 against the Calgary Hitmen.
Owsley was named the 2010 WHL Western Conference Playoff MVP as well as the Prince George Cougars 2011-12 MVP.
Currently Owsley is in his 2nd season in the Atlantic University Conference of the CIS with St.FX in Nova Scotia.
